TenZ has used our keyboards through most of his professional career and has been a vocal supporter of Wooting. We had to return the favour by building his ultimate keyboard.
This keyboard has every detail tuned to what TenZ prefers. Custom switches with longer springs for more control, an FR4 plate, gasket mount and an enhanced spacebar.
The Lekker Tikken switch, but fine-tuned to TenZ's preferences with a lighter spring and custom colours that fit the TenZ theme.
The all-black FR4 plate offers a touch of stiffness to improve precision in competitive play. The material also preserves deeper sound tones.
A gasket-mounted build gives every keystroke a refined sound and feel: firm where it matters and free from unwanted case noise.
A foam-filled spacebar reduces resonance, and super-lubed stabilizers smooth out movement and noise to keep your sound crisp.
It wouldn't be a TenZ takeover without him taking full control of the design. The case is black and dark translucent. The keycaps are black, with white ANSI- and red Kana legends. The switch design follows the theme with translucent top housing, black bottom housing, and a red stem. The power cable ties it all together with red-and-black embroidery.
This keyboard comes pre-loaded with his exact Wootility configuration: actuation points, Rapid Trigger tuning, and other features he relies on.
You'll be gaming in tune with TenZ.
TenZ's career speaks for itself. He's been one of VALORANT's top players for years, known for unmatched mechanics and the kind of aim you can't teach.
The 80HE TenZ Takeover features True 8kHz Polling. The keyboard doesn't just poll at 8,000Hz, it also scans every key at the same rate, and in sync. That combination delivers a stable input latency of around 0.125 ms. All you need to unlock it is turn on Tachyon Mode.
Modern peripherals often have 8kHz polling, but if your keyboard's scanning rate doesn't keep up, 8kHz polling is just a buzzword, an empty promise.
The keyboard reaches a scanning rate of 8kHz that stays in sync with the polling rate. Each time your computer asks for information, your Wooting has it ready.
This results in an extremely low input latency of about 0.125 ms. That gives you an edge over your opponent since your character will simply react faster.
To achieve true 8kHz polling, you need to activate Tachyon mode in Wootility. This feature lowers your keyboard's RGB brightness and turns off RGB effects so it can focus its processing power solely on scanning keys at lightning speed.
Analog input isn't just on or off, the keyboard reads the exact depth of your keypress. With Hall-effect switches, that translates into faster reactions, more precise control, and the basis for a whole set of advanced gaming features.
The keyboard is built on Hall-Effect technology, which uses magnets (inside each switch) and sensors (on the PCB) to measure exactly how far a key is pressed. In short: it tracks the distance between magnet and sensor with precision.
Because the keyboard detects press depth, you can define where a key activates, when it resets, and even assign different actions depending on whether you lightly tap or fully press a key.
We're still discovering new features to add to our keyboards.
Rapid Trigger resets a key the second you lift your finger, letting you re-actuate instantly. It's built for faster movement, cleaner counter-strafe timing, and more precise control.
This feature dynamically adjusts the point at which a key activates and deactivates. Assigned keys deactivate the moment they move back up and reactivate the moment they're pressed down again. This gives you the ability to fire inputs in rapid succession.
Rapid Trigger is useful for competitive gaming because it increases input speed, you no longer have to fully release a key before reactivating it.
Fun fact: the Rapid Trigger feature played a major role in analog keyboards becoming the default in esports. We pioneered this feature, first on the Wooting Two Lekker Edition and later on the OG Wooting 60HE.
Choose the exact point at which a key activates, down to 0.1 mm. Each key's actuation point can be set independently to match your preferred feel and timing.
The actuation point is the moment a keypress is registered, or how far a key must be pressed down to activate.
Wooting keyboards use Hall-effect sensors to measure exactly how far each key is pressed. You decide when keys activate, with 0.1 mm precision.
Wootility gives you fast and easy access to every performance feature. Set your actuation, tune Rapid Trigger, adjust keymaps, and lock in the exact settings you need for competitive play, without getting lost in menus.
Wootility isn't just about RGB, Rapid Trigger and Adjustable Actuation. It's packed with features that give you more control, improving your gameplay or increasing productivity. The Wooting developers are continuously exploring new features, while refining existing ones.
